I'd like to take a close look at this; could provide good rationale for unblocking sites within my school district.  We currently have a web 2.0 committee looking at the use of these tools.

Starting a Book Club

I'm starting a book club at my library and will hopefully gain some student interest.  The population I work with (aside form just being teenagers) have low reading skills and low interest in reading.  I'll be trying to implement the use of a newly discovered webspace, airset.com.  There's a public website component I haven't fully figured out, but you can at least view the blog posts at http://shhsbookclub.airset.com.

What's the best book you read this year?

Too hard to name just one.  I've been reading much more since summer, and I have several books that I'm reading at the same time, few I've completely finished.  Some recommendations: The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield, The Interpretation of Murder by Jed Rubenfeld, No Country for Old Men

Which friend or acquaintance most influenced your taste in music?

I'm not sure that I could define my taste in music.  Whatever it is, I think it probably comes from much of what people around me listened to as I was growing up.  I guess between my sister, dad. grandfather and school-age friends I can go from Big Band to 80's music to Rap to Country to Classical.

This week is my spring break. 
Here all the things I plan to do:

1. Clean up the yard
2. Plant flowers
3. Mow the yard
4. Update my resume
5. Work on the back room
6. Play cards
7. Read
8. Watch movies at home
9. Exercise
